Troubleshooting
The bot is stuck, frozen, or unresponsive.
Use
/resetbot
and follow the steps. If still unresponsive, force-close and relaunch the Telegram app.
Still not working?
Clear the chat history with Trench Bot, i.e., delete the bot conversation from your Telegram messages.
IMPORTANT: Trench Bot shows your EVM and SVM private keys only once when your first wallets are created. If you delete the conversation and haven’t saved them, you won’t be able to recover or export your private keys later.
Your wallets will still preload when you relaunch the bot (linked to your Telegram ID), but the private keys cannot be retrieved. Make sure you’ve saved them in a secure place before proceeding!
Reopen the bot and start it again at @altcoinist_trenchbot
Your wallets will auto-load based on your Telegram ID
If menus still lag, try switching to a more stable internet connection — Telegram bots may delay on weak networks.
If none of this works, contact @AltcoinistSupportBot to open a support ticket for your account.
My swaps (buys & sells) are failing.
Check if you have sufficient funds on the chain you are trading.
Increase slippage via
/settings
→ Slippage.Set gas fee to Fast or Turbo under
/settings
→ Gas Fee.Some tokens may be blocked (honeypots or broken quotes).
If a transaction is pending, use the “Reset TXs” button or
/resettxs
command to clear them.
Still stuck? Contact @AltcoinistSupportBot and we’ll help you out.
Why is my snipe not triggering?
Ensure the caller (AI or human) posted a new call after sniper setup.
Confirm adequate funds on the correct chain.
Adjust slippage and gas settings in
/settings
.Some tokens may be blocked (honeypots or broken quotes).
Still not working? Try re-adding the sniper or testing with a different caller. If it keeps failing, contact @AltcoinistSupportBot on Telegram.
I can’t sell a token in my holdings.
Manually load the token: Use
/sell [CA]
— this forces the bot to load the token into your sessionExample:
/sell 0x123...Dfc2
→ select chain → your token + USD value will appear
If the token still won’t sell:
Adjust Slippage: Go to
/settings
→ Slippage and increase.Adjust Gas: Go to
/settings
→ Gas Fee and increase to Fast or TurboCheck for invalid tokens: Some tokens are honeypots or lack a proper quote — if that’s the case, the bot will block the trade to protect your funds
If there’s a pending or blocked onchain tx in your wallet, the bot will send you a prompt with a Reset Transactions button to help reset, or use the /resettxs
command and follow the steps
Still stuck? Open a ticket by contacting @AltcoinistSupportBot to open a support ticket.
Tokens not showing in Holdings / incorrect or outdated token balance:
Check the chain: Make sure you sent the token to the correct chain (e.g. ETH to Ethereum, not Base or BNB)
Refresh your wallet: Open the bot →
/holdings
→ select the chain → tap Refresh
Still can’t see the token?
Tap Refresh multiple times — low-cap tokens may take a few attempts
Remove Dust Filter in
/holdings
.
Use
/sell [CA]
to manually load or trigger visibility
Example:
/sell 0x123...Dfc1
→ select chain → token and the USD value will appear in Holdings.
If it shows onchain but still doesn’t appear in the bot, contact @AltcoinistSupportBot on Telegram.
I’m having trouble withdrawing a token.
Reset your session: Type
/exit
in the bot to clear any stuck commands before retrying the withdrawal.
If the transaction failed onchain:
Check your gas balance: Ensure you have enough ETH, BNB, or SOL on that chain to cover the withdrawal fee
Check the token amount: Make sure you’re not trying to withdraw more than your available balance
Verify the destination address: Confirm that the address is valid and compatible with the token you’re sending
Check token mechanics: Some tokens include transfer taxes, cooldowns, or anti-bot logic that can block withdrawals entirely
If your withdrawal fails due to a stuck onchain transaction, the bot will DM you with a Reset Transactions button, use this to reset your wallet queue before retrying or use the /resettxs command manually.
Still not working? Contact @AltcoinistSupportBot for help.
I can’t find my private keys!
If you used a default TrenchBot wallet, your EVM and SVM private keys were shown once when the wallet was created.
If you deleted that message, it cannot be recovered — TrenchBot does not allow exporting private keys for security reasons.
What you can do:
Import a new wallet: Go to
/wallets
→ Import Wallet and paste the EVM or SVM private key of a wallet you control and want to importWithdraw funds from your old wallet: Go to
/holdings
→ Withdraw and use the bot to send tokens from your old wallet to your new imported one. This allows you to keep using TrenchBot with a wallet you fully control and have access to.
Always save your private keys securely. If they're lost, you cannot recover them from the bot.
Advanced Trading & Execution FAQ
Supported Order Types
The Altcoinist trade execution layer supports multiple advanced order types designed for automated and efficient trade execution:
Market Orders – Execute immediately at the best available price.
Limit Orders – Execute only when the specified target price is reached or improved upon.
Stop Loss / Take Profit Orders – Automatically trigger execution when price thresholds are met, allowing for risk management and profit capture.
TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) Orders – Split a larger trade into smaller transactions over a defined time period to minimize slippage and reduce market impact.
Cross-Chain Swaps – Enables seamless asset movement and trade execution across supported blockchains.
These order types are available in both wallet mode and within Pro Mode vaults, depending on chain and feature availability.
Execution and Routing
The system aggregates liquidity across 100+ decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and 15+ off-chain liquidity providers (PMMs) to ensure best execution.
Smart order routing dynamically evaluates:
Available liquidity depth across venues
Price impact and slippage parameters
Gas and latency optimization per chain
The routing layer continuously monitors pricing data to determine the most efficient trade path while mitigating MEV (miner extractable value) risks.
Altcoinist Pro Mode
When Pro Mode is enabled, the user’s wallet becomes the signer for a dedicated smart contract vault (Pro Mode account). This vault acts as an on-chain execution environment that enables advanced trading and automation features while keeping user custody intact.
Key characteristics:
Each user operates a personal smart contract vault, controlled by their own wallet as the authorized signer.
Only the signer wallet has permission to withdraw assets or authorize any movement of funds from the vault.
The vault supports automated order triggers, including stop loss, take profit, and TWAP scheduling.
Transactions are executed gaslessly through relayers or keepers, reducing manual signing and simplifying multi-step strategies.
All trading data — including open orders, execution history, and PnL — is tracked at the vault level.
One-time token approvals apply across all strategies within the vault, removing repetitive confirmations.
Pro Mode is intended for advanced users who require automation, precision execution, and trading strategy management.
Automation and Latency Handling
The execution engine monitors on-chain and off-chain data feeds in real time. It processes incoming price updates and order events at high frequency to:
Trigger conditional orders as soon as market conditions are met.
Batch or split orders intelligently based on predefined parameters.
Minimize execution delays caused by network congestion or gas spikes.
This allows for reliable automated order handling without requiring constant user input.
Gas and Chain Abstraction
The system supports gas abstraction and multi-chain operation.
Users are not required to hold native gas tokens for every supported chain.
Transactions can be executed via gasless relayers, abstracting signing and submission.
A one-time token approval enables subsequent trades without repeated authorization prompts.
Supported environments include EVM-based chains (Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Polygon, etc.) and SVM chains (e.g., Solana).
Supported Networks
The trade execution system operates across multiple blockchain environments:
EVM Chains: Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, BNB Chain, HyperEVM, and others.
SVM Chains: Solana and compatible subnets.
Feature availability (e.g., TWAP, vaults, or gasless execution) may vary by chain depending on deployed infrastructure.
Security and Auditing
All smart contracts within the execution layer have undergone third-party security audits.
The system maintains on-chain verifiability for vault creation, order placement, and execution.
Operational transparency allows independent verification of any trade or transaction event.
